This week, our class have been learning how to read and spell words containing the 'r' sound.😁
We have discovered there are lots of different ways to spell 'r' sound...er, ir, ur, or, ear, re to name but a few! 😏
Through interactive tasks, we have been exploring the different spelling patterns. We have been clever 'sound spotters' in shared reading tasks and its has been a great week using our sounds to help us write! 😍
We really loved sorting the words under the correct spelling pattern and building our words using paper squares.
