We recently held our annual Year 7 Spelling Bee. Everybody worked really hard to learn lists of increasingly difficult words, and after a record number of rounds our two finalists fought to decide who would be champion. Here is a metaphorical recreation of the final round, as Mikaela dealt a knockout spelling blow to defeat our runner up Lisa. Please rest assured that these photos were carefully staged and no children were harmed during this year's Spelling Bee. Unfortunately Mikaela was unable to compete in the Tyrone final as she was touring Northern England at the time - but I'm very confident she would have been really hard to beat!
