Dyslexia Awareness Day!
Omagh County Primary School is proud to be a British Dyslexia Association Accredited school, we work hard to ensure that all of our classrooms are dyslexia friendly. Our staff are trained to identify dyslexic tendencies in children and know how to effectively teach children with dyslexia. All children are different and all children with dyslexia have varying abilities and difficulties. We strive to ensure self-esteem is protected at all levels and that our pupils recognise their strengths and preferred learning style. We marked Dyslexia Awareness day with a virtual assembly and a lovely little video entitled; "Dyslexia is awesome and rubbish".
