Today we had a visit from The Dogs Trust.
We learned what the Dogs Trust does and how they help dogs who do not have a home.
We learned about 'The 5 Happy Dog Rules'
- If a dog is resting, we should leave them alone.
- If a dog is eating, we should leave them alone.
- We should always stay quiet around dogs.
- Dogs don't like hugs, they prefer a gentle stroke.
- If a dog takes your toy, tell an adult.
Each rule had some actions to go along with it. Ask your child to see if they can remember any!
