Today marked the beginning of Year 1’s Shared Education partnership with the two classes from Holy Family Primary School. Mrs Pollock’s class were very excited to introduce Mrs Prunty’s Year 1 children to Hill at the High. Meanwhile, Ms Bunce’s class boarded the bus and headed to Holy Family to play at Happy Hill for the first time. What a special day!
We were so proud of the children for embracing this opportunity and welcoming new friends. Hopefully they were able to recall some names when they went home.
We are looking forward to watching friendships blossom as the classes journey through the programme while they attend primary school.
After Christmas, we will meet up with our new friends again but will swap locations. We can’t wait!
