Ditch the Dark Day
8th Jan 2016
On Friday, staff and pupils banished the “January Blues” and held a 'Ditch the Dark' day. The theme of the day was Be Bright, Be Seen. The day, organised in partnership with Sustrans, was to raise awareness of safe travel to school during the darker days of winter.
Pupils and staff got creative with their bright outfits and some pupils travelled to school on scooters and bikes which were equally as bright.
Winners of the Sustrans goodie bags presented by Ann-Marie Cox from Sustrans, were Thomas Archibald in Year 6 and Jessica Brady in Year 2.
