In P.3 this week, children were using 2 letters to make the 1 sound! We were learning to read and spell words containing the ch, qu and ng sounds. We found lots of words with these sounds at the beginning and the end of words!
We loved watching videos, building our words on our wipeboards and books- always using our sounds to help us write! Have a look at our photos to see us being SUPER SOUND SPOTTERS, hunting for our target sounds in our shared reading!
We also are becoming very clever at writing our upper and lower cased letters correctly and knowing when we use our upper case letters! Have a look to see our fantastic writing on our boards and self- correcting Mrs Crosbie's silly mistakes on the IWB!
