On Wednesday 21st February, a group of Year 7 pupils attended the BeeSafe event at Omagh Leisure Centre. They had a brief tour of seven different workshops concerning different aspects of personal safety - water, farm, electricity, road, fire, Internet and bus safety. I think we all learned something new and the pupils listened and behaved really well and asked and answered lots of good questions. We all had to fill in evaluations back in class, and these indicated that they enjoyed the afternoon - especially the Safety Bus! We even received a selection of goodies just for attending! Many thanks to all the organisations involved for putting on such a practical and relevant event.
