The year 1 children have had a very busy week getting their train carriages ready for the Polar Express - today they finally got to jump on board!
After meeting the train conductor we had to organise our carriages and get our tickets stamped before departing the station. We took a dive into the ocean, found monsters on Mars, danced in the Brazil street party, scored some goals on the football pitch and were nearly eaten by snakes in the jungle, all before landing in the North Pole. We had so much fun making snow angels, spying Santa's robin and listening out for Santa's sleigh bells before racing back home to OCPS.
A day full of train themed play followed by a movie and treats was the perfect way to end the week. We imagine everybody will be in bed early tonight!
