On Thursday 6th November Omagh County Primary School pupils had a visit from Mambo and Jazz the Health Action Hero Puppets.
The puppet show covered the four golden rules including:
• Eat healthy
• Take plenty of exercise and play lots of games
• Be safe in the sun
• Never smoke
The Health Action Programme increases awareness of health matters early in life to decrease their chances of getting cancer as an adult. It helped motivate and inform the children on how to make positive lifestyle choices.
