This week Room 3 have been reading 'The Lighthouse Keeper' books by Ronda and David Armitage. We love the stories about Hamish the cat and Mr Grinling, the Lighthouse keeper! We made some lighthouses in Technology and even managed to light them up!
During play based learning this week, they made bridges and towers for our Bee-Bot to move to! We are good at playing money games on the i-pad and making rainbows out of craft tissue paper. Our children love being weather forecasters using our interactive board.
In 3D shape, children brought in junk material and sorted for cuboids, cubes, spheres, cylinders and cones.
Friday number day saw us completing a variety of investigations in class and counting various things outside while doing our number trail.
