So 'hoppy' to see you Mr Frog!
16th Apr 2021
Year 1 got a very exciting treat this week when a real frog hopped into our classroom - 'Norman' the frog must have heard we are learning about frogs next week. What a fab opportunity to see a frog up close and to get us excited about lifecycles.
This week we have been exploring...
- The story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar
- Mixing colours
- The lifecycle of a butterfly
- The different body parts of a caterpillar
- Time (Days of the week)
- Patterns
- Revising our sounds
- Reading new words
We have been waiting patiently on our new class pets - caterpillars. Unfortunately, due to Brexit our little caterpillars are still on transit. We are hopeful they will be with us soon.
Quite a few tired boys and girls, so enjoy catching up on your sleep and have a great weekend!
