新年好 - Happy New Year
On Thursday 9th February Years 6 and 7 made their way over to South West College to celebrate Chinese New Year. The pupils took part in activities such as Tai Chi, Chopstick Challenge, Mask Design and Shuttlecock Keepy Uppies, which they all participated in really well and enjoyed thoroughly. We were then treated to an exhibition of traditional Chinese dance, song and music, performed by the talented Mandarin tutors who have been working in various local schools. Everybody took part in a rousing Chinese New Year song - with Harvey King on lead vocals! Thanks to all the college staff and Mandarin teachers for looking after us so well - we will continue learning the language with Yanyan after the half term break.
