Year 6 take part in the Great Garden Birdwatch!

Year 6 took a trip to Arleston Park today to get involved in the RSPB Great Garden Bird Watch.
We came armed with bird identification sheets and tally charts and some people even brought their own binoculars.
We managed to spot a variety of birds including magpies, robins, blackbirds and wood pigeons. We saw lots of mallards on the pond. They were difficult to count but we think...
Rhyme Time 'Blasts Off' into 2025!

Rhyme Time was back with a bang today as we welcomed in 2025 at our space themed session. Our little astronauts had lots of fun as they 'zoom, zoom, zoomed' in their rockets exploring planets, the moon and gravity along the way.
Thank you to everyone who attended, it was great to see lots of new faces.
We look forward to seeing your again next month!
Year 1 ‘BLAST OFF’ into 2025

Year 1 were very excited to BLAST OFF into the their new topic of 'SPACE' this week. We had lots of fun exploring the planets, rockets and learning about life as an astronaut. Ask us about our favourite planet so we can impress you with our knowledge! Thank you to all the grown ups who collected junk materials for us, we can't wait to design and build our own rockets next week. I wonder where we will...
Year 6 Young Enterprise - Our World

Year 6 pupils spent a morning with Fionnuala from Young Enterprise. The topic of the session was Our World . The pupils looked at the different foods and clothing that are exported and imported into and out of Northern Ireland, and we found out that a lot of our clothing comes from very far away!! Brrrrrrr...It's been cold outside!🥶🥶🥶 P.3 have been using the cold weather as a stimulus for their writing! We have been thinking about 'WINTER' in our indoor and outdoor classroom!
