Year 1 enjoy making friends with pupils from Holy Family shared education

Today marked the beginning of Year 1’s Shared Education partnership with the two classes from Holy Family Primary School. Mrs Pollock’s class were very excited to introduce Mrs Prunty’s Year 1 children to Hill at the High. Meanwhile, Ms Bunce’s class boarded the bus and headed to Holy Family to play at Happy Hill for the first time. What a special day!

Year 6 Teambuilding at Parkanaur

Year 6 recently had a big day out, heading to Parkanaur Forest Park for a Teambuilding programme provided by the Speedwell Trust.
After a short bus journey we were split into groups for our first activity in the courtyard, which was a game naming different animals in the alphabet. X, Y, Q and U were especially controversial! After a much needed snack, we set off in our groups for the main activity...

What a fantastic day we had on Friday 15th November when all of our boys and girls dressed up to celebrate Nursery Rhyme day!
We had Incy Wincy Spiders (and Spidermen!), Miss Polly with her dolly, Jack and Jill, Twinkle Twinkle, the Baker Man, Old MacDonald and a little monkey who fell off the bed! Well done to everyone for putting lots of effort into your outfit and singing lots of nursery rhymes...
