Welcome Back Year 1!
12th Mar 2021
It has been such a treat to have all the boys and girls in Year 1 back in school - we missed you! The boys and girls worked so hard during Home School and we are so proud! This week has been busy, but well done for settling right back into the routine of school.
This week we have been....
- Learning how to form 'w' and thinking of words beginning with 'w'
- Word building 'wig' and 'wet' - this word tied in well with the weather
- Sentence building and writing dictation sentences
- Listening to stories and singing songs
- Revising 1p and 2p coins
- Participating in PE with Ryan
- Discussing ideas for our new topic, 'Spring'
- Learning to label the parts of a daffodil
- Made something secret for all the Mummies - you will have to wait until Sunday to find out.
To all the Mummies of Year 1 - please take a look at the special Mother's Day video made by the boys and girls just for you. It's a real treat!
Enjoy a very relaxing weekend and see you all on Monday,
Mrs Pollock & Miss Peters
