We have had a very busy January in Room 1.
In numeracy we have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. The shape treasure hunt was great fun. We used 3D blocks to make colourful pictures for our classroom display.
We have been using Sounds~Write to help us to learn our letter sounds and practice writing these letters as much as we can.
In cookery we have been experiencing lots of new tastes, textures and smells. We even invested in chef outfits :)
Mathletics has been helping us with our numeracy. We really enjoy playing games with other children from around the world after we have finished the work that Miss Feeney has given us.
We are looking forward to February and learning all about Chinese New Year and money.
