Young Entrepreneurs!

23rd Mar 2017

Pupils from Year 7 at Omagh County Primary School put their business brains to the test through our recent Young Enterprise initiative.

With surprisingly little guidance from Mrs Stronge (and a lot of market research) they took a simple concept and created a very appealing product. After designing their advertising campaign and polishing up their sales techniques, the pupils set off with their wares to Main Street on Tuesday 23rd March. As we predicted they took the shoppers of Omagh by storm and sold all their 'Jammed Jarz' in record breaking time. Poor Mrs Smyth and Mrs Rutledge even had to go and replenish stock as the Mother's Day gifts proved so popular. Well done to Emily, Courtney, Amy, Abbie, Kelly, Nathan, Thomas, Ethan, Allister, Tyler and Aimee-Leigh...we are super proud of you all.

A huge thank you to Mrs Stronge for co-ordinating the programme and to 'Two's Company Holistic Therapy Room' for sponsoring our young entrepreneurs.

Alan Sugar better watch out!
