The Easter Bunny visits Year 1

28th Mar 2018

Year 1 have had a busy week preparing for Easter.

Amidst practising for our Spring Assembly, we have been talking about the Easter Bunny and hoping he would hop by. We wrote an invitation to invite him to our school and were delighted to hear Mr Anderson had spotted him collecting it from our playground. A few days later Mrs McGirr spotted him in town - so we knew he was near by. We created our very own 'wanted' posters and displayed them around school to ensure all of OCPS were on the lookout.

To our delight, we peeped out of our classroom window today and saw him hopping around our playground. Amazing!! Mrs Pollock tried her best to catch him but he was just too fast and escaped over the fence. Thankfully he had left lots of yummy eggs for us to enjoy.

Have a fantastic Easter Year 1, we look forward to hearing all of your news on Wednesday 11th April!
