Year 6 have been having Futsal sessions from expert Omagh Futsal Club coach David Alonso, and as part of this experience we were invited to a friendly competition at Omagh Leisure Centre. We started with a short IFA Community Relations workshop and then it was down to the football! We had a team of boys and a team of girls and we played a series of exciting matches against Holy Family, St Conor's, Omagh Integrated and Gibson. We won some, lost some and drew some. There were lots of goals and everybody joined in and played their part - a really good experience for all involved! Omagh Futsal Academy Leaflets are being sent home for anyone in P3-P7 interested in going along for coaching and matches.
